Love God, love people, transform lives

Vision

“We aim to be a church which welcomes everyone,

whether you normally attend church or not”

Core Values

“Community of Welcome”

LMA welcomes all who would like to connect with us, in social gatherings, food and fellowship.

“Place of Encounter”

A place where we encounter God in worship, prayer, learning from the Bible, communion, prayer ministry and in the experiences that we live individually and together

“House of Prayer”

A ‘House of Prayer’ is a major part of the vision of our church. Prayer is a vital part of our life as a church – building together as a praying community. At this point we don’t literally have a physical house of prayer (hopefully one day we will).

We pray together in meetings, and times of extended prayer following the 24/7 prayer model. Prayer ministry and prophecy are an important part of the life of our church.

“Life of Adventure & Service”

To live lives taking steps forward in the great journey of life that God has given us to enjoy.

To empower others to grow in their gifting in an atmosphere of acceptance.

To make a positive difference in the lives of those we meet, in the Ascot area and in the nation.

Part of a Growing Network of Churches

Many churches, church leaders & dioceses have been keen to learn from the experience of Latimer Minster. Consultation and advice have helped catalyse the growth of churches in many places. Teams have come in from Latimer Minster to resource churches and Christian organisations. Partnerships have been developed, notably with Lichfield Diocese at Walsall Heathlands Mission. New churches and Christian communities are being developed and are growing, with shared value and in very different contexts (details can be found at theminster.org).
